How can I add my pet’s vaccine records to the eHealth Card?
Request your pet’s veterinarians to complete their vaccination record on your pet's eHealth Card. Only a licensed veterinarian can do this, indicated by a Vet Verified badge. One innovation we’re currently piloting for select users is a Vet Verified workflow that converts existing paper-based vaccine records into their digital counterparts. Through this process, you can submit their paper records for professional authentication and transcription by a partnered veterinarian in the eHealth Card network.
Request your pet’s veterinarians to complete their vaccination record on your pet's eHealth Card. Only a licensed veterinarian can do this, indicated by a Vet Verified badge. It is our trustmark in our eHealth Card to assure that all records in it are properly verified by a licensed veterinarian. This hallmark serves as a safeguard for both pet owners and veterinarians by upholding information integrity. Every record entered undergoes thorough verification, making sure that only qualified professionals can authenticate medical entries.
Our strict authentication process is designed with security and accuracy in mind. The process exclusively uses a licensed veterinarian’s registered mobile number, safeguarding against unauthorized access. For every vaccine or anti-parasite record, a one-time password (OTP) is sent directly to the veterinarian. This OTP must be entered before any update is finalized on the eHealth Card, creating a verifiable chain of trust for every health intervention logged in the system.
Although this level of security may limit immediate ease of access, it is a vital step in protecting the credibility of the Vet Verified badge. The restrictions in place are not barriers, but rather purposeful measures to prevent fraudulent claims and ensure that every eHealth Card entry reflects genuine clinical action from a licensed professional.
Your veterinarian is not yet using the eHealth Card? Here’s an option.
As the eHealth Card has gained widespread interest, we have been committed to expanding accessibility while retaining uncompromised standards. One innovation we’re currently piloting for select users is a Vet Verified workflow that converts existing paper-based vaccine records into their digital counterparts. Through this process, you can submit their paper records for professional authentication here and transcription by a partnered veterinarian in the eHealth Card network. This ensures continuity of documented care and preserves the credibility of historical data.
This initiative is a stepping stone toward a more inclusive feature currently in development. Soon, pet owners whose veterinarians are not yet integrated with our network will be empowered to scan their paper vaccine cards. The digital record will then undergo an automatic transcription and subsequent verification by a licensed veterinarian within the Pawnec eHealth Card network. This enhancement aims to remove access barriers while maintaining our strict standards for veterinary authentication.
These continuous advancements underscore our ongoing commitment to balancing expanded access to transformative technology with the enduring promise of trust, integrity, and protection guaranteed by the Vet Verified mark. Our vision at Pawnec is to empower every pet owner to take an active role in their pet’s health while relying on a system where every record can be trusted.
